Patricia knew the artwork would be placed either side of the mirror in her hallway. The artwork would be a focal point - bringing a dynamism and new energy to the space.

The budget.
Patricia had a clear idea of how much she wanted to spend. The following quotes are for guidance and based on size: 30 x 40 cm - £650, 40 x 50 cm - £750, (a2) 42.0 x 59.4 cm - £800 . (Please be advised: material and size options, production method and development time will influence the price of the artwork).
When we met!
The complimentary studio session includes, discussing material, colour and size requirements. A mood-board is developed to convey the look and feel about the artwork and you will leave the session with your selected fabric.
During Patricia's studio consult, we used the artwork already in her hallway to inspire the material selection and colour scheme. We also discussed size options in more detail.
Development.
Once the time frame, budget and design brief was agreed, I confirmed details with Patricia via email. A 40% deposit was requested to cover the initial design time, plus any materials that needed to be purchased in advance.
During the making process you are welcome to get in touch should you have any concerns or questions about how the commission is progressing. I like to document my progress with photographs (as shown below) and I am happy to share these images.
I offered a framing service.
The six to eight weeks lead time can also include a framing service, at an additional cost. I have worked with Stocks since 2016, a framing company in Central London that provides beautifully crafted box frames to encase my artwork (as shown in Patricia's hallway below).
Collection and care.
Patricia came to the studio to collect her artwork in person, it can however be delivered if preferred. The outstanding balance must be paid at collection and for deliveries, a full payment (including postage/packaging costs) is expected before the artwork is dispatched. Finally, I will explain all care instructions for your new artwork and provide a signed statement of authenticity and bio.
